Walnut Bowl “Ocean Depth” (27×9 cm)

Description

This piece of English walnut is a tribute to movement, time and depth. Its shape is gently irregular, like hand-formed ceramics that has survived centuries — and yet it was born from living wood.

The outside is hand-textured and then painted in layers of acrylic. Metallic blue dominates, with white and fine color accents worked in to emphasize the structure and give the surface the look of an old glaze, worn by time and touch.

Inside, the bowl stays natural — polished, smooth, with rich walnut grain. Treated with a blend of natural oils, resins and pigment so that the grain emerges like a deep landscape beneath the water’s surface.

The wall is about 5 mm thick, making it a light, elegant and precise piece.
A unique bowl that looks as if it came from a long-lost culture somewhere at the bottom of the ocean. 🌊🔥
