Description

A massive bowl of English walnut from a trunk of large diameter. The natural edge was only cleaned of bark and left as the tree grew.

The outer surface is textured and brought to life in fiery colors. Yellow and red fade into black shadows, and here and there a copper metallic sheen appears that changes with the light.

Inside, by contrast, the wood itself stands out. The walnut grain is only gently accented with dark pigment to bring out the depth of the growth rings.

Finished with natural Ludvie's Oil Pure. A big bowl, and even more a big piece of a tree that got a second life. Every piece is one of a kind.

Care: wipe with a dry or damp cloth, do not put in the dishwasher and do not leave standing in water. Detailed care instructions are included with the product.
