A symmetrical ash bowl with a cracked knot in the center. The inside is stained grey-black, the outside brick red. A one-of-a-kind piece, 22 × 7 cm.

Description

A clean, symmetrical bowl of ash. In the middle, though, remains a spot that cannot be smoothed: a large knot cracked like a crater. The grain waves and twists around it, as if something once rushed through that place.

Staining brought it out even more. The dark grey-black interior lets the depth and movement of the growth rings stand out.

The outside is in contrast. The brick-red surface highlights the structure of the ash and carries small imperfections, including a remnant of bark with traces of the life beneath it.

Finished with natural Ludvie's Oil Pure. It is not clean or calm, but it is honest. Every piece is one of a kind.

Care: wipe with a dry or damp cloth, do not put in the dishwasher and do not leave standing in water. Detailed care instructions are included with the product.
